RAINY STORM

Shot on the cold, hard streets of Durham and Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Rainy Storm is a walking textbook cliche of the B-movie rogue cop conceit. Officer Storm does things his own way, by his own rules, and he's doing it for the children of America. Everyone is out to get him, even Armond Van Cleef, a 277 year old vampire, who happens to be the world's top assassin.

What could easily be described as bad gets even worse when Rainy Storm turns from 70's copsloitation into a buddy cop thriller. An homage to the current Hollywood trailers in rotation today that reveal every plot point (even though you know them all already): This played-out genre has been a company favorite ever since Drew played Scorpio in 1995 ... then there was the Seibenick throwback Random Justice in 1999. Finally, 301 Films presents an apocalyptic adieu to this four-year cycle of masturbatory kitsch: Rainy Storm.
